The lights belong to us. You don't buy anything, store anything or untangle anything. Next year, we put the same lights back up.

Run by two neighbors, not a franchise.
We answer our own phone.We're a local couple who started Sleigh the Block because getting the lights up shouldn't mean a Saturday on a ladder. We keep the season small, so every house gets done right and on time.
When you text, you're texting us. When a bulb goes out, one of us comes and fixes it.
Good questions
Do I have to buy the lights?
No. The lights come with the service. We hang them, take them down and store them. Next year we bring the same lights back, already cut to fit your house.
When do you install?
From early November to mid-December. Pick a date when you book; earlier dates go first. Takedown is January 2 to 15.
Is this just for Christmas?
Not at all. Whatever you celebrate, or if you just like a warm glow on a winter night, we'll light it up. Pick warm white, multicolor, or blue and white.
I already have lights. Can you just hang them?
Yes. Install-only costs less, and includes clips, a timer and January takedown. You keep and store your lights. We test every strand before it goes up; if one doesn't work, we'll tell you and can swap in ours. Repair trips for your own lights are $75.
Will it damage my roof or gutters?
No. We use plastic clips made for gutters and shingles, never staples or nails. We photograph your roof and gutters before we start.
What about power?
We plug into your existing outdoor outlets and add a timer. LED bulbs use a fraction of the power of old-style bulbs. We don't do any wiring.
Do I need to be home?
Usually not. If we can reach the outlets and the yard, we'll text you photos when we're done.
How do I pay?
A 10% deposit holds your date. The rest is due on install day, by card or bank transfer.
